Goals!

At this time of year you hear over and over about how you should be setting goals. Not just any goals, but, SMART goals. Specific Measurable Achievable Realistic Timed goals.

BORING! Realistic? Are you kidding me? When it's dark, cold and dreary and you just don't want to eat another egg white or chicken breast, realistic will not get you out of bed, on the bike or in the gym.

Forget realistic. Dream BIG! Make your goals ridiculously huge and exciting. Make them MAKE you get up and at 'em.


Aim for the stars. You might end up on a mountain top.

Running for Haiti

The events of the last couple of weeks have really shaken up everyone. Not to overstate the obvious, but, does it ever put things in perspective. When you lose your home and your family and you are literally scrounging for your next meal, nothing else matters. As Canadians, we have a responsibility to help as much as we can. We are proud to see so many rescue workers and Doctors head to Haiti from Canada and other places to help out.

One little thing that we are doing as a team is that we (All Canadian Fitness) will be running at Westdale High School at 9am on January 30th to raise funds to send to Haiti. Organized by the Runner's Den, come out and run either 5 or 10k and donate to the cause. No pledges.... just donations.

We hope to see thousands of you there.
